The AAAS Martin and Rose Wachtel Cancer Research Award is an annual award, funded by an endowment established through a generous bequest from Martin L. Wachtel, which honors early-career investigators who have performed outstanding work in the field of cancer research.
This year's winner is Cigall Kadoch, an Assistant Professor at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kadoch will deliver her lecture titled "Structure and Function of Mammalian SWI/SNF Chromatin Remodeling Complexes in Human Cancer" at National Institutes of Health, Lipsett Amphitheater on July 19, 2019 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm with a luncheon reception to follow in FAES Terrace. The award-winner's Essay will be published in Science Translational Medicine the week of the award ceremony.
